Sandberg on Instagram @ponysmasher you know that he’s deep in the pre-production process right now. With Shazam expected to start shooting early next year, he’ll need to cast his lead actor soon. Today, Omega Underground came across a Shazam audition video of Arrow actor Parker Young. The video was published by Young a week ago, and shows him acting out several scenes as Shazam with mentions of other heroes in the DC Extended Universe like Batman and Superman. Shazam é, na verdade Billy Baston, um menino que ao gritar esse nome, se torna um adulto forte. Shazam é uma combinação das iniciais de Salomão, Hércules, Atlas, Zeus, Aquiles e Mercúrio.

O filme, que deverá ser rodado no início de 2018, poderá ser lançado já em 2019, antes de Esquadrão Suicida 2.
